Take it easy stephen. You got it wrong.
I correspond frequently with Greg D., Be_Savage modreator. He's the most down to Earth, cool guy on the web when it comes to Savages. I've met many a folk in these forums devoted to the Savage, and he's at the top of the list. *The only thing he's more dedicated to is other Savage riders and their riding experience.*
He's working his ass off trying to get a Savage club going. In fact, about 10 Savage riders attended Freedom Fest last month as an inaugural club event.
I can't comment as to why you were denied, but the Be_Savage club decided to monitor memberships for whatever reason. I think it may have had to do with security for members identities and such.
When I held the moderator reigns while he was at Freedom Fest, I got about 5 requests per day! (The Be_Savage forum takes work, man, give this guy a break.) The ones that responded to my "intervew" questions (if you want to call them that) basically got approved immediately.
All Greg (and a handful of moderators) require of potential members is that they answer a few welcome message questions as to why they want to join--tell us a little about them. Not too much to ask. Anyone who's been around long enough in this forum to remember that asshole Peter Eide can value a moderator trying to weed out screwballs from his forum.
My guess is that you slipped through the cracks somehow. Do you check your *Yahoo!* email for a response?
btw...I'm pretty sure Greg would be the first person to help a broke down rider. And more than likely you'd be on your way down the road from his handy work...
